Refund & Returns Policy

We put immense care into creating and packaging every Mrinya piece. In the rare event that something isn’t right, we’re here to make it right — fairly, transparently, and promptly.

Return Window

You must raise a return request within 48 hours of your order being delivered. The 48-hour window begins from the time your parcel is marked as “Delivered” by Delhivery in their tracking system.

Return requests raised after the 48-hour window will not be accepted under any circumstances. Please inspect your order carefully and promptly upon delivery.

Acceptance of Terms

We accept returns only in the following situations:

  • Damaged Item: The product was received in a damaged or broken condition.
  • Wrong Item: You received a product that is different from what you ordered.

Mandatory Evidence Required for both cases:

  1. A genuine, clear, uncut, and unedited unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened, clearly revealing the issue. Trimmed, edited, or unclear videos will not be accepted.
  2. Clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect product, showing the problem distinctly.

All submitted evidence is carefully reviewed and verified by our team before a return is approved. We appreciate your cooperation — this process protects genuine customers and keeps Mrinya a trustworthy space for everyone.

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following are strictly excluded from our return, exchange, and refund policy:

  • Custom-made and personalised jewellery — pieces created to your specific design, measurements, or personalisation
  • Pre-orders once production has begun
  • Items returned without the required unboxing video and clear photographs
  • Return requests raised after the 48-hour window from delivery
  • Items that show signs of use, damage caused by the customer, or alteration

Your Resolution Options

Once your return request is verified and approved by our team, you may choose from the following resolutions:

  • Return & Refund: Return the product to us. We arrange and cover the return shipping at absolutely no cost to you. Once the returned item is received and inspected, a full refund is processed within 2 business days to your original payment method (for prepaid orders).
  • Exchange: We will dispatch a replacement piece to you at no additional charge. The exchange order is shipped within 2 business days of approval.
  • Store Credit: We issue a unique coupon code equal to the full value of your order, valid for 6 months from the date of issue, redeemable on any future purchase at mrinya.in.

We do not collect your card or banking details directly. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never access your full card number or banking credentials.

How to Raise a Return Request

To initiate a return, please follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:

  1. Email us at support@mrinya.in or WhatsApp us at +91 9064655161.
  2. Include your Order ID in your message.
  3. Attach your unboxing video — uncut and unedited.
  4. Attach clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item.
  5. Mention your preferred resolution: Refund, Exchange, or Store Credit.

Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with next steps.

Refund Details

Refunds are processed within 2 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned parcel. Credit timelines by payment method:

  • Prepaid orders (UPI / Card): Refund is credited to the original payment source within 2 business days of our processing. Please allow an additional 3–5 business days for the bank or payment app to reflect the amount.
  • COD orders: The ₹50 advance shipping fee paid online is refunded to the original payment source. ₹50 COD Convenience fee is non-refundable. For the COD balance paid at delivery, our team will contact you to collect bank transfer or UPI details for the refund.

Store Credit Terms

If you opt for Store Credit as your resolution:

  • A unique coupon code will be issued to your registered email address.
  • The coupon is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • It may be applied to any product available on mrinya.in (excluding custom or pre-orders that require separate pricing agreements).
  • Store credit coupons are non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash.
  • The full value of the coupon can be applied in a single transaction.

Exchange Turnaround

Once your return request is reviewed and approved by our team, the exchange piece will be dispatched within 2 business days. You will receive a dispatch notification with a tracking number. The exchange is shipped at no cost to you via Delhivery, with standard delivery timelines of 5–6 business days after dispatch.
