Acceptance of Terms

By visiting mrinya.in, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order on mrinya.in. Minors may use the website only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.

Our Products

Mrinya specialises in handcrafted jewellery and accessories. As our pieces are created by hand with artisanal techniques and care, please note:

  • Slight variations in colour, finish, texture, or dimensions from the product images are natural and expected — these are characteristics of handcrafted goods, not defects.
  • Product photographs are taken under controlled lighting and may appear slightly different on various screens due to display calibration.
  • We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit the availability of products without prior notice.

Pricing & Taxes

All prices listed on mrinya.in are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods & Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.

Order & Payment

We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment partner, Razorpay:

  • UPI (all major UPI-enabled apps)
  • Debit & Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, and others)
  • Partial Cash on Delivery (COD): An advance shipping fee of ₹100 is collected online at checkout via UPI or card. The remaining order amount is paid to the delivery partner at your doorstep.

Why the ₹100 advance for COD? We collect the shipping fee upfront for COD orders to confirm the order is genuine and allow us to begin processing it with the love and care every Mrinya piece deserves. Your advance helps us commit our resources to your order right away.

An order confirmation is sent to your registered email or mobile number once payment is successfully processed. For COD orders, confirmation follows after the advance payment is completed.

Order Cancellation

You may request a cancellation before your order is dispatched. To cancel, please contact us immediately at support@mrinya.in or WhatsApp us at +91 9064655161 with your Order ID. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible. Refunds for cancelled prepaid orders will be processed within 2 business days.

Custom & Pre-Orders

We accept custom jewellery and pre-order requests exclusively through WhatsApp at +91 9064655161. Please note:

  • Custom and personalised orders require advance payment as mutually agreed upon before production commences.
  • Custom pieces are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once production has begun, as they are made specifically to your specifications.
  • Production timelines for custom orders will be communicated at the time of request and confirmed before work begins.

Intellectual Property

All content on mrinya.in — including but not limited to the Mrinya brand name and logo, product photographs, designs, descriptions, graphics, and website layout — is the exclusive intellectual property of Mrinya and its founder, Shantapriya Mondal. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, display, or commercial use of any content from this website is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Limitation of Liability

Mrinya’s maximum liability to any customer is limited to the value of the product(s) purchased in the relevant transaction. We are not liable for:

  • Delays or non-delivery caused by third-party logistics partners, natural disasters, or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
  • Inaccuracies in product descriptions or pricing errors, which we reserve the right to correct at any time.

User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Mrinya website or services. Prohibited activities include placing fraudulent or fictitious orders, providing false personal information, using the website for any unlawful purpose, and attempting to interfere with the website’s security or functionality. Mrinya reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders from customers who engage in such conduct.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on mrinya.in. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India.
